At this link is a little suggestion for Provincial Empire, scuplture from Monument of Nereide (British Museum). It's a SATRAP visitng the province. I don't know if it's clear, but the historical relationship fits!
Scattered troughout the web there're also several coins with insigna of many famous satraps, but I don't like it

As you like.

According to Velusion wishes, there're some examples of Dead Sea Scrolls for Universal Doctrine.

They're color images, but with some b/w rendering, they can be useful.

If not, try with this:

I hope...

For the ANATOMY card, I suggest some images of the TRUE Caduceus of Asclepius (not Apollo! sic)

http://www.american.edu/cas/images/caduceus.gif

http://www.physiology.auckland.ac.nz/iu ... duceus.jpg

http://www.intecservices.com/sites/dmh/ ... duceus.jpg

I think the true medical staff is more appropriate than the other pic selected

Alternatively, the idea and the image of egyptian mummification wasn't so bad...

I like the http://www.theonehope.org/scroll.gif suggestion for universal doctrine. Provincial empire implies taxation and rule from afar. The visiting satrap is a good symbol, but this is not a simple enough picture for the card - too difficult to interpret what it is and what it means. I'm searching for a Diaspora symbol.

For the set I'm currently putting together, I used some other images. Don't have the URLs on me right now. Is there a way I can upload the modified civcard images to this forum to see what others think of them?

For Provincial Empire, I am trying out a simplified B/W map of Greece from the Pelopennisian War. Looks pretty nice, and gets across the idea of a local mini-empire.

When thinking about the game-function of the card Provincial Empire, I prefer an image of several different coins, as it gains several different sorts of income, all from different provinces. Though Coinage allready uses this kind of image.

So, maybe this one is still the best to work on:

especially when reading some articles about the Satraps

Maybe this can include some coins.
