AFAIK, I haven't seen any new counters, but I remember reading someone was working on them.

You can do a few simple things - use the set of 14 online and maybe take a few into photo/paint program to alter them a bit. I did that with 5 sets, swapping black for white and then printing them out. (I did drop the black on indigo and just used my replacdement white on indigo as the printer I used made the black on indigo hard to read.)

*IF* your printed counters come noticably different from the original counters, you could use both.

I'm working on new counters, but very sporadically now during the summer.

We've tried using some original counters and it didn't cause any problems. The eastern civs seldom make it further west than Babylon so they can double the western civs.

As a counter point, the first time an eastern civ trades "Treachery" to a western Civ, there will be mixing. Indus is causing the Grecian civilizations all sorts of trouble in Apollo 18.

I've been kinda doing something similiar. Take the original 9 sets of counters, and print out and make a complete set of the 1.x that are downloadable here. Mix and match the total of 23 to minimize confusion. The ones that I make are pretty different from the originals (of course, I've got two sets of the originals, so missing a few isn't a problem.)

The 1.x counters that I printed out, I printed on card stock double-sided on a color laser printer. Then had them hot laminated with 10 mil laminate. Worked pretty good, but the dark colors with the color laser toner didn't stick with the hot laminate terribly well (Nubia and Persia.) The backs worked perfectly (mostly white), but the fronts lifted slightly. I'm going to try cold laminate (which includes glue) for the next set.

Maybe this should be under cyberboard, but I'm looking for graphics for counters to all 18 civs to put in cyberboard version of ACEP.
The counters I got from Maps and counters in zipfile.
I was thinking of using old and new counters graphics for new civs as follows:

Africa - Carthage
Italy - Rome

(these of course)
Iberia - Iberia
Arabia - Arabia
Crete - Crete
Illyria - Illyria
Thrace - Thrace
Babylon - Babylon
Assyria - Assyria
Hatti - Hatti
Persia - Persia
Indus - Indus
Egypt - Egypt
Barbarian - Barbarian

Still missing
Chorasmia, Dravidia, Maurya, Kushan, Nubia.

And I will change the number in census counter to follow the AST order

This will be made with cyberboard v.3.0 beta 6 and so it will not work with CB 2.0. I choose v.3.0 because it's support for 16 bit color.(looks much nicer)
