Much better, now.

Now the question is: Adding more civilization should we add culture related number symbols on trade cards?

Perhaps one set for the east and one for the west, and a mix for the shared, but I think it's simpler if all just was the same.

I would rather they look the same so they can be used in any kind of varient games, etc...

I like the Wax... not so sure on the currency... Are you using the default commodity fonts on these?

Took a little while but how does everyone feel about this currency?

I think it breaks a bit the abstract style of commodity cards by showing actual objects.

I have to agree with Wernazuma.
Don't feel good with concrete layouts.

I agree, all other cards are abstract. I also don't like the idea of a currency card. These are supposed to be trade goods... and without coinage, currency doesn't make much sense. (though I suppose the same can be said about some of the cloth cards, and cloth making)

For a more abstract look how about this version:

Not completely abstract... but its pretty hard to abstract currency.

Unless someone offers a steller replacement currency is not changing. Logically many of the commodities traded require an advance to trade... like:

Grain, Ochre needs Agriculture
Cloth needs Clothmaking
Iron needs Metalworking
Gems/Gold needs Mining

ect, ect....

Currency just seems too refined compared to the other 1 point cards. We're talking about something that people traded between 5,000BC and 2,000BC.

So how about

EDIT: ugh.. just noticed a terrible typo in this post and decided to correct it.

I like DLuciano's pictures. Velusions Ceramics is better though, good one.

I second to DLuciano's thoughts about currency (what is the treasury tokens if not some sort of currency), and I like his bone too.

Should be stone coins.
