Post Newbie PBEM question
Hi all,
I'm an experienced AdvCiv player but I've only played FTF games so far.
Lately many of my playing group got scattered around the globe and I was considering setting up a PBEM game with your G*R*E*A*T expansion but there is something I can't figure out: how do you deal with the 'trade' phase in a PBEM game??? In my opinion it's the most critical phase of the game and I can't see any effective way to play it in a PBEM setting.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated!
BTW, thanks a lot for this great expansion!!!
Cheers,
Roberto

Until I get the coding done for the trade website stuff (a long way off, as it is low on my priority list), there are two common ways.

1. Use a GM that keeps the official list of what everybody has. People send initial e-mails to everybody telling people of their intentions then the negotiations go private. When two people reach an agreement, they each send an e-mail to the GM, who confirms that they have the cards and that the cards they claim to expect are the cards the other player is giving and then tells the two players the results.

2. Use VASSAL or Cyberboard. Much of the beginning part is the same, but the actual transaction is a little more complicated. Jonno would better be able to tell you how to perform the transaction in Cyberboard
