Some comments to the new cards:

I'd like to always keep self-colour-credits first (like Advanced Military, not like Agriculture).

I like how the (+) symbol worked out in reality.

The 10-religion-credits symbol looks awful. Is there anything you can do about it?
Otherwise I'm afraid it's back to the drawing board for that one...

Have you seen Craig Johnson's homemade die-cutter?

Would be nice. too expensive for me too.
The cutting machine mentioned above is only for printing/binding factory, where it's running hundreds of thousands of cuttings a DAY!
But my friend can use it in spare time.

He also binded ONE copy of a book for me once. Normally books go in 1000 pieces at least.

Credits own color first:

Well that's something I've noticed too.

Problem came with the 5 different colors.
I tried to create an order that fits best.

This ment
Red pentagon - Blue triangle - yellow star - green circle - orange square

Never realized that it would end up a combination like agriculture.
Another problem was the multi-colored cards.
So I edited the color-combinations in the order I used

So for example Monument became yellow-orange, not orange-yellow.
It does not matter in which order, but I linked it to the order I put out.

I think I'll do all cards this way, and than later look what cards should have their symbols flipped.

I agree it should have its own color credit put first.

For the deism symbol, I;ve noticed it too.
5 religion credits is fine to me, but 10-religion credit looks bad.
I really dont know how to solve it.
THe star is just a hell do put a digit in. We've had that problem before, ending up in the 10pointed star and turning back to 5.

Looking at Diaspora, I think the digit should be lowered for 10 credits to the same level as the art-symbol.

For Astronavigation I see no problem:

Nope

this is what I created, and is fine to me.
So, an exception for the 10-religion credit only.
Keep in mind, that there is no great option for the religion symbol in general. All are compromises.

Note, I'll flip all credtis for their own color when I've finished all cards.
I've made a note of that.

(I'd rather do one issue on all cards, in order to keep my mind concentrated at one thing at a time, so I make less mistakes)

Well, Monument is a "Craft and Religion" card, not a "Religion and Craft" card. Nothing that can't be changed, but I honestly think there is less work in swapping the colours on the civilization card...

That's OK, as long as they do get flipped.

Agreed.

What about something like this:

Perhaps a bit too "Jewish", but still better than the current mess.

Much better than the old one, but still not really good. Could you please see what you can do with a six point star, if nothing else to humour me .

too jewish?

well, it IS a religion, AND the most important in our game.

I'll work on that first. I think it'll have to do.

for the multi-cards, I'll flip all colors to fit the ones that should be.
Can I use the quickchart for the right order in this?

Well, there was lots of religions during the time span of our game, and not all Religion advances are Monotheistic...

I know, but when mentioning 'monotheism' 'diaspora' there is some jewish flavour.
All I wanted to say is, that a 6-sided star relates to (an important) religion in the first place, and not to something that does not have a link with religion.

Here's my findings.

Image

If we use a star (regardless of the number of points) I want to use an equalized one.
Don;t know how to say it, but I mean the lines of each side are in line with eachother.

I agree, a "vertically mirrored" star is to be preferred.
And honestly I think the six-pointed star works better than the five-pointed one even for the 5 credit symbol.

notice under the symbols: '10 to Civilization Advance' instead of '10 to Civilization Advancement' which led me into doubting about the word 'advance'

In this post I previously posted all cards.
I threw these away and created new ones.

to avoid confusion, I've deleted the ones in this post

OK,

when I was flipping the symbols, I noticed that it were more cards to be changed than I thought it would be. (almost all cards had their symbols to be flipped)

I totally stepped off of my previous order now.
SO:

All cards have their own credit symbol first.
including the cards that contain all 5 symbols.

Take a look at the next page for why.

All looks great.
Haven't had time to proofread the texts though, but I don't think I'll have time to do it at all before using them for GothCon, where there will be at least nine proof readers (aka players)...

Yep, maybe the best option.

But I meant, If you were waiting, you could have speeded up the process.

The attributes are well checked by Gerart. But I might by accident missed a line, or put a line at a wrong card.

I checked the right amount of credits
I checked the right color of credit
I checked the new religion symbol
I checked the order of color for both title and credit-symbol

Thing's I did not check yet are the cost. (shouldn't be so hard)
