Me too, although new insights may alway come and go...

Once more, a last version, containing Jonno's last change of Trade Empire:

Now I realize why 'engineering' shouldn't need 'player not holding engineering attacking your cities'

ENGINEERING
Image

It might have been too much tunnelvision of me, but:
When a player attacks your city and both players hold engineering.
On the card issue 1 might be true, but as long as a player attacks your city and YOU claim issue 1, that player holding engineering claims issue 2 on HIS engineering.

adding '+1' and '-1' results in zero. (extra army requirement)
adding '-1' and '+1' results in zero. (extra defender bonus)

This never means engineering nullifies engineering. It's just two different rules in addition. Thus: Cumulative instead of nullifying.

PLING! :D

For this thing only we would have removed 'not holding engineering' from the card, not because of saving space.

OK,

Let's continue the discussion for "Civilization Advancement" / "Civillization Advance" here.

I need to know what we choose, for example for "Library"

Discounts the cost of any one Civilization Advance by forty points, provided that this card is purchased simultaneously with Library.

Another Thing

If All Cardnames Begin With A Capital...

Like 'Advanced Military', Shouldn't It Be "Wonder Of The World" Instead Of "Wonder of the World"

Like In The Creditsbox For "Monument"

For now go with advance as written, and I'll look deeper into the issue later (won't have time prior to Easter).

When capitalizing titles in English, you usually don't capitalize articles, prepositions, conjunctions and the word "be" in all it's forms ("be", "am", "is", "are", "being", "was", "were", "been").
As "of" is a preposition and "the" is an article they are not capitalized.
There are different schools of thought on this issue, but to my knowledge this is the most common one, and it is the one I'm using consistently (I hope) throughout CivProject.

Jonno is correct to the best of my knowledge (I'm a native English speaker, but that doesn't mean I know it any better than anybody else).

I've printed myself 18 copies of each card last weekend.
Just have to cut em out (will take a while, as I'm not in hurry and it's a hell of a job)

They all look great to me, and I consider this job (the designing of the Civilization Advances) to be done. This in addition to Jonno's playtest during Easter.
Apart from any future changing in rules or names.
