...or an introductory scenario for CivProject could be made by playing the standard AdvCiv map, standard commodity and calamity cards, and the standard advances modified following the new rules.

You would play up to 8 or 9 (adding the white set for hordes and pirates), but in example FAMINE is reduced by 5 (with no grain help) having POTTERY, and it is possibly worsed by AGRICULTURE.

I don't know if maintain the standard advances pricing or introducing the new credit system, but maybe it's easier to leave things as they are.

If you limit yourself to the old advances, I would continue to use the old costs and credits.
I do se some problems with using the new rules for excisiting cards without adding the new ones though. It has the potential to be very unbalanced...

My post was meant to include AdvCiv: the original in the Project.
You couldn't do it with the old set because you don't have it.

I am supposing that the CivProject will be in the far future produced.
