New attempt at Civ Being Coded (with TCP/IP)

Post
Me and a friend are currently in the process of coding the original 1981 Avalon Advanced Civilization boardgame into a computer client. What that means is that we won't have AI or anything like that, simply the ability to connect to others over network or TCP/IP directly and play against them as if the board was in front of us. Right now we are in the early stages (hence collecting info from all over the net to make our map and understanding of rules perfect). The variant presented on this site is really interesting, and if we manage to pull off the original board successfully it would not be that difficult to incorporate your world map and rule adhjustments as well. Anyway, any sort of comments, help, encouragement, flames, etc are encouraged 8)
