Credits and new players.

I was reading the "14.6 Late arrivals" rules and found that new players will start the game with lots of civilization advances, but no credit tokens. I belive this is a leftover from the 1.x rules when the civilization cards gave discount directly, instead of giving credits that gives discount. As I asume this is a misstake I have, to maintain the old intent of the section, changed 14.62 to the following in my 2.06 draft:

Quote:
14.62 Once a Civil War occurs, the new player will be the beneficiary, as he will have the most units in stock (30.411). In addition to whatever cities and tokens it acquires as a result of the Civil War, the new nation also acquires, at no cost, the same civilization cards and the same amount of credits as are held by the Civil War victim, and places his marker on the same A.S.T. position as the Civil War victim. The Civil War victim retains his civilization cards and credits. This assumption of the civilization cards, credits and A.S.T. position by the beneficiary of a Civil War only occurs when a new player is entering the game.

The draft, containing this and a few minor corrections, can be found at http://jon.severinsson.net/civproject

Now I'm going on holidays. I'll be back 12:th of January.
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy New Year, or whatever, to all of you!
