CreditQuickChart - proofread
Author Message
Post
I'm proofreading this versus the rulebook described as 2.04 (but has 2.03 on the title page.)

(a)
On the CreditQuickChart (CQC for short :), Medicine shows a credit of 5 Crt and 5 Sci. However, the rulebook section has:
"33.0642 Provides 10 Science Credits and 5 *Civic* Credits. Provides 20 extra credits to Anatomy."

I think Medicine providing Craft makes more sense, so I'd say the CQC is the correct one.

(b)
On the CQC, Mythology states that it provides a credit for Literacy, but Literacy states that nothing provides a credit for it. The rulebook (33.1512) mentions the credit - so I'd say that the CQC needs correcting (on the Literacy row).

(c)
In the rulebook, two advances give a credit to Theology, Enlightnment and Universal Doctrine:
"33.1543 ... Provides 20 extra credits to Theology."
and
"33.1554 ... Provides 20 extra credits to Theology."

Which is odd in that no other advance gets two advances giving it credits.

The CQC has Enlightnment giving a credit to Philosophy instead of Theology. Also, with Philosopy no other 200 point card does not have some advance giving a credit.

I am thinking that 33.1543 (Enlightment) is supposed to refer to Philosophy and not Theology.

That's all I found on the CQC, on to other things :)

The latest version of the rulebook is 2.04 and has 2.04 on the title page. When velusion updated them he must have forgotten the PDF version and just updated the Word version, which is 2.04.
(c) is already fixed in 2.04, and (a) and (b) will be fixed for 2.05.

I've been working from the PDF, which is a version behind. I'll print out the Word doc and make comments from that.
