Well, ended up running a 10 player on Sunday - showed off and talked up the Expansion Project on Saturday and gave out the URL frequently :)

I had printed off a 50" easternmost slice of the map, and we played on that. Egypt (left off Nubia), Assyria, (no Hatti), Babylon, Parthia and points east. Used the scenario book, though in hindsight I think I made a mistake with Egypt's borders (that was the last minute addition.)

It was a more violent game than I was used to. The beneciary of the violence between Assyria and Egypt (who pulled in Babylon, Saba and Parthia to a limited extent) was Babylon. Parthia was hurt hard, but he was careful with the one player at the table unfamiliar with Civ, who was handling Persia. Babylon had a clear lead on point.

I'll do up a comments/commentary post in a bit.

I'd be curious as to how you thought the scenio book borders were!
