I have thought of the comments on my CC, and come (so far) to the following conclusions:

- The worksheet 'Tables' will be hidden, since there's no use showing it during a game.

Better

- I will try to add a macro that can hide the worksheets 'Overview' and 'VPs' on command. This because I noticed that some players prefer to not know the exact score of each player during the game, but only at the end. The sheet was never made for this option, but I will introduce it.

good option

clearer

- Library and Anatomy are pains in the ass to me. It will be quite difficult to make a proper solution for their effects when purchased. I will think of a solution, but if the amount of work (and chance of errors) exceeds the advantages, I will leave it. It ain't that hard to solve manually during a game.

Maybe another person here on the forum, is good at visual basic.?

- A possibility to correct the amounts of cities or AST position of a player will be introduced. Don't know yet how I will do it, but it is definately possible.

ok

- I am thinking of using coloured tabs for tribes that are being played, while making non active sheets one other single colour, so they're easily distinguishable from each other.

If that's possible, that'll make it a whole lot easier to quickly find the sheettab.

Once again, I'm back with a new version of the calculator. Since in fact it doing quite a lot more than just calculating credits, I decided to change the name to 'Civ Administrator'. That may be a rather cheesy name, but since it is exactly what it's doing and I don't mind 'camp' at all, it sounds good to me :-)

In relation to the previous version, the following changes have been made:

• The worksheet 'AST' is promoted to control center of the file. It contains all buttons that start the macros that make it work.

• The sheets 'Tables' can easily be hidden, since it is not actively used by players during the game (though it fuels many background processes).

• The sheets 'Overview' and 'VP Chart' can also be hidden, since player groups may prefer not to know the exact score of each player during the game.

• The sheets of Civs that are played, are automatically renamed to the player names.

• The sheets of Civs that are not played, are automatically hidden from view.

• Astronomy is renamed to Astronavigation.

• The costs of Monotheism, Politics, Provincial Empire, and Trade Empire are changed according to version 2.10.

• 'Regression' is improved: it takes the primary victims (possible) possession of Fundamentalism and/or Library into account.

• An extra button 'Corrections' is added, for correction of either the city amount, AST position, or Civ Advance purchases of a player. Mistakes can now be corrected by everybody that did not create this file :-)

One last thing: I did deliberately not implement the effects of Library (science cards for free) and Anatomy (extra credits in the same turn), since they are quite tough to program. Anyone buying one of these cards can take these effects into account 'manually', which is in fact infinitely easier...

I put two different versions on-line: the normal 18 player Expansion version, and a version for players that play the Expansion on the old 9 player map. For the latter, the AST of Advanced Civilization is used.

The 'manual' has been updated too.

I hope not including the prerequisites for the AST spaces. For the rest it sounds great!
Are the chosen credits of written record, monument and WotW also programmable?

No, it is just the 'shape' of the AST; for each epoch entry, the prerequisites of The Expansion are used. Actually, the 9 player variant is a funny mixture of Advanced Civ and The Expansion.

Yep (as Flo already wrote); they are listed in a table on the downside of each player's tab.[/quote]
