The Tradecards Stacks Mat
I've posted a topic about this before, but updates have been made so this is the newest version.
I've designed a seperate mat for the tradecards.
- This would be best if it's glued to a piece of cardboard so that you can easily pick it up and move it around.
- Each mat shows two boxes of 9 rock slabs on top of which the cards can be put.
- A little space is left between all stacks. Not only are the rock slabs a little larger than the cards, also the space between the slabs. This makes it easier to place your fingers when picking up the stack or a single card.
- Whenever you have all cards stacked up. You might not see the appropriate numbers anymore. (I've had this problem myself before)
That's why the left area can be used for the cards where you keep the right numbers for guide.
- Where the left area can be used for stacking cards, the right area can be used to place any returned cards for in the return of Excess trade cards phase or during the reosultion of 'Corruption'.
- Intentially I did not put names like 'return cards' on top, for it's up to anyone how to use this mat. In the end it's clear anyway.
- Each mat is meant for either West or East stacks. So you'll need two of those, if you play seperate trade card blocks.
- I did not make a seperate West or East version, because this file can be used for printing either. This saves costs (time, labour etc)
- I did not put any more information on it. No names for commodities. No names for Calamities. No names for Civilizations. Not like on the current map. There is no need for this. All information like this is written in the rulebook. Besides, this may vary on number of players. (for example, when you play 11 players on West, Babylon is considerd 'west'.) Also because I created one file instead of seperate East/West, this info should be left off.
- The background shows a cavepainting. I've also used a cavepainting for the back of the tradecards. The reason for this is explained in the appropriate topic.
