I'm interested in printing the maps and cards, counters, etc. You can see that if you check out my two websites I have some experience in this:

www.campaignadventures.com
www.ahgeneral.org

I use 600dpi as a standard for most graphic work of this nature. Your 300dpi artwork seems to adjust OK to this. I have a 36" roll fed color printer as well as a 24in sheet fed color photo printer. I also have 25" and 42" hot roll fed laminators.

I am having some difficulty double side printing the maps on the 36 inch printer. The 36in sheet is over 70 inches long and the printer can't tell if its a sheet or a roll and refuses to reload it. I'm thinking if I trick it into thinking its a roll, I will waste a couple feet of paper on every double sided print. I may have to print these maps single sided.

My standard rate for E size plots of this nature is $25 for double sided & laminated, but I will need to charge at least $30 for a single side laminated print of this map. (see if you can get it printed and laminated ANYWHERE else for that little!)

I'm having some color and brightness issues with the map as well, but I'm working thru that pretty well. Its mostly the HP 1055CM printer's fault for only having 4 ink cartridges.

As for the trade cards, you put 21 per page, which might be fine for A4 paper, but they will not print on US cardstock. They need to be rotated and have 20 per page for US paper. You also expanded the width of the printed area on the card. the originals measure 30x50mm and fit on the 1.55x2.4in card well when the corners are cut. I will have to make some adjustments to the cards to print them. I've had good success with laminated card stock, and have ordered a corner-cutter die press to cut the cards. With all this extra effort I will probably have to charge $5 per printed sheet of 20 cards, but they will be very similar to the originals in appearance. Do you have any artwork for the trade card backs?

My work with double sided counters has been pretty good over the years, I have some special glue and technique I use with laminated paper and get a very durable result. I have circular punches for the citys and can pre cut those, but my second die cutting press for counters is not finished yet and has trouble with double side lamination anyway. I usually charge $12 per 8.5x11 sheet of counters. This game may take 8 full sheets!

I want to print this material, but don't want any trouble with the law kicking down my door. When will this project be entirely independent? Is there any demand out there for this material being printed other than myself?

Feel free to contact me.

As the trade cards are to be redone, it's no problem to create print-sheets in your preferable size.

But this will be the very last step in this process, just when the cards all definetive.

Please give me the right size, in centimeters please (including the marges)

But this subject should be discussed in "printing" I guess
