Post CivProject 2.09 released
Today I released the 2.09 version of CIVILIZATION: The Expansion Project. The only components to be updated is the map and the Core Rulebook, but two more components are now included: the Optional Rulebook and the Scenario Handbook. These replaces the alpha scenario handbook previously available in the forums.

The map only contains minor tweaks, the only game technical one is a slightly changed A.S.T. track for Hatti.
The Core Rulebook has the usual minor corrections and grammatical updates, as well as a completely revised section II. "Getting Started".
The new booklets is completely reworked, and has almost nothing in common with the old alpha scenario handbook.

Hello,

I'm just new to the whole Civilization universe - but what I see here looks really fantastic. I'm now looking forward to organize a little group to play this game. ;-)

I read almost the whole corebook and found the following discrepancy between the corebook and the calamity quick chart:
Its about civil war:
The corebook speaks about 7 areas needed to benefit (28.4.12 ) where the quick chart says 8 areas.

Regards,
Michael

Hi Michael

Welcome to CivProject!

The discrepancy is just in expression. The Core Rulebook says that there may at most be 7 areas between the players' units, while the quick chart says you may at most cross 8 boarders to get to an area containing the other players units. It will end up the same, but we should probably change the quick chart anyway, as the rulebook was changed as it was considered to complex.
