| Post subject: | Question on Metalworking |
Hello, it's me again with a further question. I hope, I'm not getting on your nerves... This time it's about Metalworking: Quote: In conflicts, a player with Metalworking always remove his token after all other players without Metalworking have removed theirs, even though the other player(s) may have larger forces. Again with an example: Player A has 5 tokens and Player B has 2 tokens in an area with population limit 4. So totally 7 tokens (3 to much). Normally, Player B would have to reduce 2 tokens and Player A 1 token. Now, player B is in possesion of Metalworking (A is not), so player A has to begin reducing tokens. The explanation speaks about always removing tokens after all other players. How is this exactly meant? 1) A removes 3 tokens, B zero tokens. 2) A removes one, B removes one, A removes one. Because the explanation says his token and not his tokens, I think it has to be (2). But I am not sure. Thanks for your help, Michael |

You are correct, interpretation two is the one intended. §18.24 does not trumph the alternately removing of tokens, only the order they do it in. The language is complicated as it must cover the case when there are 3 nations in an area, where two players have metalworking, and one doesn't, and similar unusual but possible scenarios. I'll look through it and see if I can clarify the section though. |
