While we certinly welcome new suggestions for advances we are currently at the stage were we are more likely to modify an existing advance rather than add any more. We are (or have already surpassed) the "saturation" limit of advances that can realisticly be used in a boardgame (computer game is another matter). I've already had people tell me they are overwelmed with keeping up with all the advances in the later game and how they work. So keep up with the suggestions, but realize we are unlikely to include brand new advances in the official expansion. |

No worries, I don't intend to add to the official expansion, my ideas are mainly for my own bemusement and I thought others might be interested. |

I hope I speak for many when I say I am interested in any new advances. I plan to incorporate these into a regular game of Advanced Civ. I understand Velusion's hesitation about incorporating new cards since playtesting is necessary for any modifications, though. |

Are there plans to make new advances at this stage? Or does this website keep the current set of 51 advances? I'm drawing images for this set. Maybe when people do have some house-advances and like my style, I'd like to draw an image for these ones. |

CivProject will not add more than 51 advances (at least not for any 2.xx version), but might modify/rename/replace some if there appears some especially good suggestions. However, I know there are expansions / variants out there with their own cards, such as Hellenization, and given how good your skills are I'm sure they would be interested in your help. |
