9 - Tradable - (Major) - ROULETTE

Regardless of who holds the card, The primary victim is the player with the most units on board. The Beneficiary is the player with the least units on board.

The Beneficiary takes the croupier-stick from his toy roulette set and may move this stick over the map one time. All cities, ships and tokens moved off of the map are destroyed.

One additional move is made by the benificiary if the primary victim holds one of the following civilization advances: Military, Advanced Military, Naval Warfare, Politics, Monotheism, Astronomy, Metalworking, Fundamentalism, Roadbuilding, Provincial Empire, Trade Empire and Cultural Ascendancy.

This Effect is cumulative.

I think roulette should be changed to cat. I have had the cat calamity strike the board one night with dire results.

By the way welcome Taylor. I'm from Visalia. Two Central Valley guys here now. And one is packing a Chuck Norris card, look out! :D

Well. Maybe you can manage to create a cat-calamity

We hav had that before. At RISK or CATAN this calamity has worse effect than on Civilization.

lol, I really love seeing people ridiculing Sid Meir's Civilization.
However, I'd like no note that a regression from the best can still be reasonably good...

talking about sid meier:

This is what Wikipedia says about 'Avalon Hill's Civilization':

"Despite being out of print for several years, the Civilization board game still holds a loyal following. The Origins Game Fair holds a yearly tournament featuring the game, and awarded the game the Charles Roberts Award for Best Pre-20th Century Boardgame of 1982. Twenty years later, the new Civilization board game repeated its success, winning the Origins Award for Best Historical Board Game of 2002."

First they're talking about avalon hill's and the second they talk about sid meier's. Anyone interested in changing this. I have no account on This version of Wikipedia.

Dealing with 'the devil': My next project will be the painting of the minatures of Sid Meier's boardgame for a friend.
