Hi to all, Cedric here, a newbie of this great project It's my first post, I hope to contribute to discussion, but i arrive so late... I follow with interest the matter of eastern and western stock of commodieties, and i agree to the unique back for all cards (note that I not play a test, yet, but my instinct...). Very nice, too, the idea of mark the front of the card with "E" or "W" to assign correctly (and quick recognize during trading phase) each good to the right part of the world. Is this this upgrade on course? In the download file there's no evidence of this. I agree with you that "coinage" is a non sense in a barter system: so, go on with the alternative "primordial coins" of bone. I submit a shy proposal... why not "Chert", first stone worked and used by human hunters. Flax is good, but in my opinion it's a commodity more valuable than 1. Perhaps it cold be assigned to higher stock of good (3 or 4). I'm the last arrived, i know, and I can't contribute with graphics or advanced computers qorks to the poroject, but I'm a long time fan of Civilization and an historian (modern history, indeed). Please, consider my little words. Great work, guys! |
