From the rules it is right now not allowed to transfer money/treasury
from one player to another. It is only allowed by using commodities
in the trade phase.

How about to open this in a kind of transfer option??

One player transfers x tokens from his treasury to his stock,
the second player transfers the same amount x of tokens from
his stock to his treasury.

This could be used as:
- additional trading value
- taxes to other players (war taxes)
- hush money
- assassins
- mercenary soldiers
- supporting other players in case of team play

Maybe there should be some kind of credit institution with a charge of 50% and maybe it should be available only after developing Coinage.

I don't like the idea of that. It makes it easier for players to collude to help each other. It also means it would be easier to buy advances with the help of friends when a player is missing those last few treasury tokens which would take some of the skill out of trading.

Sounds nice, especially with the 50% charge: You must return two tokens from treasury to stock to allow one player to transfer one token from stock to treasury.

However, each player must have the oppurtinity to refuse it, and if that happens, no transfer is made. Otherwise players can send gifts to others in order to become the beneficiary of a Civil War or a Tyranny.

The reasons said are interesting, especially the assassin and the mercenary soldiers, since they are not involved in the game so far I know.
