Well life has been keeping me away from updating and working on civ project. Running 3 PBEM Republic of Rome games, designing a game and playing games in r/l (not to mention work, family and sleep) will do that do you. I haven't givin up on This site though! Everyone is free to continue to contribute and use what is developed so far. Eventually I'll get back to this site and continue to update. *REPEAT* the site it not dead.. it just won't be updated for awhile. It will continue to stay up and the forums can be used, etc... If there is anyone expereinced with websites that would like to help keep things up to date (all content pending approval by me of course) please let me know and I'd be happy to have a co-website admin. Please do make sure you have expereince with websites though... I don't have the time to teach anyone. Reach me at my email address below. If anyone has any specific questions on the game or wants to just pick my brain PLEASE email me at velusion@sbcglobal.net. I'm not checking these forums enough. |

Looks like the pinging worked. Martin, your DAV account is set up. If anybody else that has been here for a while wants write access to http://broggs.org/~civproject to store information relevant to this project, let me know. My Meso-America map will go there, along with elevation / vector data for the world. As soon as I recover the data from the harddrive that crashed, that information will go up too. Jeff |

I have offered Velusion to help him maintain this site, and he has accepted my offer. So from now until Velusion gets time to run it all for himself, please send all ideas, questions, corrections, updates and new stuff to me at jon@severinsson.net I will read it through, check it and see if I can do anything about it myself. The rest I will stockpile for a while, until I check through the forums and mail Velusion asking for his opinion on everything he actually has to put any effort into (such as making the final decision about inclusions of updates and new materials). Currently I'm working on updating the site, and would like all your updates to be included in the mail for Velusion to to take into consideration. So please email you anything you got! I'm especially interested in busybody's playermat and calamity quickchart, as well as an updated map (with the proposed Eastern Arabian Sea update) from Martin and any updated / new counters Aron (or anyone else) may have. If you got anything else for this project except the above, I would love that as well. I likely won't have time to actually finish updating all the web pages until this weekend, so that's how long you got to send me all updates, and to do additional commenting on proposed rule changes in the forum before I send it all to Velusion. / Jonno |

Windows 2000 or XP? Then Network Places Add Network Place http://broggs.org/~civproject/.dav give your username and password and that should open a explorer window that you can create folders, add remove files, etc. The files will actually show up in http://broggs.org/~civproject So, have at it. Jonno: Glad to hear it. |

Nope...can´t get it to work. Connecting to broggs.org, using Windows XP and the procedure above, I can´t get past the username/password window. So we put drafts on broggs.org, and then when things are decided, they get published on this site, correct? |

martin wrote: So we put drafts on broggs.org, and then when things are decided, they get published on this site, correct? That's the general idea. If you don't like the webdav at brogs (or doesn't get it to work), you can also host the files yourself or mail it to me (jon@severinsson.net) so I can host it on my site. The important thing with the drafts is that everyone can get them, and that they are linked to from the forums, so that anyone can comment on them, and I can find them when it's time to contact Velusion. |
